exposure to a metaphor today
will just be too much
i can not stomach another rhyme or syllabic rhythm
i am overstimulated with poetic imagery
i crave a blank page
a blank brain
i can not stand digging metric holes in the paper
poetry is all too much for me today
i need a break
emptiness
silence
